My name is Marie Bettenbrock.  In 2005 I graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Family and Consumer Science Education.  I have been teaching at North Clay Middle School since 2014.  I chose a career path in Family and Consumer Science (FACS) Education because I loved the thought of being able to help students learn to be more successful in life.  In FACS we focus on topics we use in our everyday lives, for example: finances, healthy relationships and bodies, cooking and much more.  I also have the privilege of teaching 7^th grade Career Explorations.  As our students begin to plan for high school it is becoming more and more important for them to have some idea what career path they would be interested in pursuing.  This class allows the students to take full advantage of their high school education at Northview in the coming years.

I am a 2001 Graduate from Northview High School.  After graduating college I married my husband Clayton.  We have three children, a son: Caden, and two daughters: Mallori and Cambri. Most of my time away from school is spent supporting my kids in their various activities.  I also have a passion for volunteering and doing whatever I can to help those around me.
